Create the environment – having the space to show self belief, be encouraged to explore what might go right, and proactivity is rewarded, contribute to giving us all the opportunity to act
Be the leader – Openly promoting leadership from within allows us all to feel we have the ability and opportunity to step up and recreate the standards that are expected through our actions
Communicate communicate communicate – constantly letting people know where you back their ability to take ownership of a project, to show initiative and take on the responsibility for the outcome of their decisions will give them confidence to do it more often
