During the week I had the opportunity to hang out “on site” having professional photographs taken for the first time. Over the course of the 3-4 hours, we wandered around taking the shots and shooting the breeze on a range of topics.

One area in line with other conversations I had had during the week was getting clarity on what you are trying to achieve and streamlining your processes to get there whether it be in your life, your career or your business. Situations where there was a lack of clarity meant the results being achieved were well under what was possible.

Here are four tips to get clarity and find a way that streamlining works for you:

  1. What do you really want – getting clear on what you really want to do is like thinking about why you are setting the GPS in the car to a certain destination while you are setting it

  2. How will you know when you have it – picture yourself in that space of having arrived at your destination. What does it feel like, look like, who’s there and how do you feel having arrived safely

  3. What action do you need to take  – setting a destination doesn’t automatically mean we will get there. The way we navigate the route also has an impact so consider the steps you need to take to get you rolling and keep you on the path

  4. Who do you need involved – at times we tend to think we are alone on our journey. Yet we need those around us to play their part to ensure we stay on track…families, co-workers, advisors, mentors all play a part.

So this week apply the structure above and you will be on the way to finding a newfound clarity and direction for you, your career and your business.

If you would like more structure and direction around this then please get in contact as this is what we love to help with.

Have an awesome week!
