Over the past 3 years i’ve experienced the rollercoaster that is being a small business owner. Inconsistent cashflow, unsuccessful quotes, shattered expectations and questioning my own ability to meet my own high expectations…. who’s with me on this one ?
Through all of these times, building trust in both us and those in our circles has been a constant focus. From having a consistent message of “Helping both Business owners and Leaders deliver on their potential” to how we hold ourselves in conversations, to focussing solely on adding value to those we interact with…. trust has been integral to everything we do. Why does this matter? When others know like and trust you, they will seek you out for guidance, motivation and for advice to help them with their challenges.
3 Tips to Building Trust
Here are my three tips for today:
Be consistent – do you trust someone who is all over the shop or someone who is consistent where you know what you are going to get when you interact with them? I know who i’d prefer to deal with and who will help me get better results
Be true to your values – get clear on what your values are and be aligned with them. The Law of Attraction will mean others with the same values will be attracted to you and will want to work with you
Act with Integrity – I recently learned that Integrity is “the state of being whole and complete”. When you are true to yourself, others will see this and be more comfortable dealing with you and being around you. Come from a place of being whole and complete and you will see others gravitate towards you
